This is my business free from any input, influence or agendas of anyone. I handle every aspect of my business so that I can ensure my ethics are upheld. This also keeps my costs down so I am able to provide my clients with exceptional results without charging astronomical fees.
Since graduating Esthetics school I have worked alone. I did try a stint at a concept salon/spa but that confirmed that I never wanted to be a big business and to have sales obligations and requirements to my vendors or the even greater responsibility of having employees to pay. I wanted my sole duty to lie with my client’s best interests and needs. That is how I have operated for 13 years.
I wanted to offer an experience I would have wanted before becoming an Esthetician. There was a deficit within the beauty industry, at least from my perspective and I look to fill that void. I wanted a place we can go to to get an ACTUAL education on our skin and how to properly take care of it. Maybe a place that suggests that you take peanut butter out of your diet if you are suffering from acne and explain to you WHY that might be a crucial first step on the path to healthy skin. Or why sugar speeds up the aging process.
My philosophy is in order to have great skin one must be educated on their skin and its’ unique needs because great skin is healthy skin. Skincare is not one size fits all.
